This Bibikabad antique rug measures 340 x 533 cm and presents a grounded palette of teal blue, rust red, cream, and brown. The composition is organised around a pointed central medallion, with a densely patterned floral field, a rich red inner border, and an ivory outer border tracing vine and rosette motifs. Medium distress is visible in the softened colour, worn surface, and gently faded finish, all of which deepen its tactile character. Circa 1900 - 1915, it offers the layered restraint and aged detail that define an antique rug.
