This Mallayer antique rug measures 84 x 498 cm and presents a lengthened composition shaped by a softened central medallion and a quietly faded field. Ivory, taupe, muted teal, and brown tones sit in a weathered balance, allowing the pattern to emerge and recede across the surface. The border is subdued, almost dissolved by wear, which adds to the rug’s layered and considered character.
