This Dorokhsh antique rug measures 323 x 460 cm and carries a finely worked allover floral field enclosed by multiple borders and scrolling guard bands. Brown, cream, ivory, taupe, faded pink, and muted blue tones sit in a muted, time-softened register, giving the surface a layered and graceful character. The pattern remains intricate, though age has mellowed the contrast and introduced visible wear across the field. Circa 1905 - 1920, it offers the presence of an antique rug with medium distress, gentle fading, and abrash that underline its depth and tactile history.
