This Dorokhsh antique rug measures 295 x 384 cm and has the softened character of wool that has settled into its age. The design carries an all-over scrolling floral field, enclosed by layered borders and small cartouche-like motifs, all diffused in warm brown, taupe, beige, and muted rose tones. Circa 1930 - 1950, it shows medium distress, with visible fading, a gently worn surface, and a patina that lends the pattern a calm, weathered depth. The overall effect is restrained yet richly textural, with heritage detail still legible beneath the softened finish.
