This Tabriz antique rug measures 272 x 340 cm and carries a finely worked all-over floral composition in muted cream, brown, blue, and red tones. The field has a softened, timeworn look, while the layered border arrangement provides a composed frame around the pattern. Repeating scrolls and palmette forms lend the surface a measured rhythm, with the wear settling into the design rather than interrupting it. Circa 1900 - 1935, it shows low distress, gentle fading, and a quietly aged character. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
