This Baluch antique rug, measuring 99 x 173 cm, carries a compact geometric field arranged around eight medallions, each outlined in ivory and indigo against a worn brick-red ground. The border work is crisp in structure, with stepped white accents and small angular details that echo the field’s tribal rhythm. Visible fading and abrasion soften the palette, creating a muted surface with considerable character. The overall effect is grounded and expressive, with the dry patina of an older woven textile.
