This Baluch antique rug measures 86 x 135 cm and offers the quiet density of handwoven wool with a richly aged surface. At the centre, nested diamonds and angular geometric forms create a structured field, held within layered borders and framed by striped bands at each end. The colour story is grounded in brown, rust, cream, taupe, and muted blue, with softened passages and visible fading that temper the pattern. Medium wear brings texture and character across the pile, while the fringe and edges read as gently timeworn. Circa 1920 - 1945.
