This Baluch antique rug measures 94 x 145 cm and is woven with a compact field of geometric medallions, stepped motifs, and ordered border bands in rust, brown, gold, muted blue, and ivory. The design has a restrained tribal elegance, with its angular patterning still legible beneath visible wear and softened colour. Light abrash, faded areas, and irregular edge and fringe character give the surface depth and age. Circa 1900 - 1935, it is an antique rug with a dry, tactile atmosphere and a strong Baluch visual language. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
