This Tabriz antique rug measures 455 x 711 cm and carries an all-over floral composition in navy, blue, cream, and softened ivory. The dense field is arranged with scrolling vine forms and repeating medallion-like motifs, enclosed by a finely worked floral border. Medium wear has softened the contrast, while visible fading and tonal variation lend the surface a calm, timeworn presence. Woven in wool, it reflects the measured elegance associated with the Tabriz tradition. Circa 1920 - 1935, it balances decorative detail with a quietly aged finish.
