This Baluch antique rug measures 66 x 142 cm and presents a finely ordered tribal composition on a neutral ground. Repeating diamond motifs, angular lashings, and slim geometric borders give the piece a measured cadence, while red, purple, navy, and orange notes bring warmth and definition. The wool pile has a gently time-softened surface with low visible distress, allowing the design to remain crisp yet characterful. Circa 1925 - 1945, it is an expressive example of Baluch weaving, balanced, tactile, and richly patterned without feeling overly formal. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
