Wool in neutral, blue, white, and cream is gently muted, with low distress and visible age softening across the surface. The allover ground has a calm, worn density, while the border and central forms maintain their definition and structure. Circa 1895 - 1910, it offers the understated patterning and weathered tactility often sought in a Mallayer rug, with colour and wear that feel balanced and resolved.
