This Bibikabad antique rug measures 356 x 528 cm and carries an allover floral lattice softened by age, with navy, cream, rust, and muted pink tones diffused across the field. The surface shows medium distress, including visible fading and worn passages that lend the design a layered, weathered presence. Vase-like motifs and small floral forms repeat within a restrained border of warm earth colours and fine geometric detail. Circa 1925 - 1955, it reads as a heritage piece with an elegant, timeworn finish, where pattern and patina are held in careful balance.
