This Tabriz antique rug measures 272 x 371 cm and shows an allover floral design softened into a gentle, atmospheric composition. Weathered red, faded teal blue, ivory, taupe, and brown move across the field in scrolling vines, palmettes, and layered medallion forms, all held within a worn border of repeating ornament. The wool surface has medium distress, with visible fading and age that flatten the contrast in a refined way. Circa 1900 - 1915, it reflects the classic Tabriz language of ordered detail and broad decorative rhythm. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
