This Mallayer antique rug measures 104 x 513 cm and carries a long, narrow composition with an allover floral lattice set against a deep, aged ground. Cream, white, muted blue, olive, and brown tones soften into one another, giving the pattern a worn, atmospheric quality. A geometric border with rosette cartouches frames the field and reinforces the rug’s steady rhythm from end to end.
