This Dorokhsh antique rug in wool measures 312 x 386 cm and presents a broad floral field in powder blue, faded ivory, rose red, and muted green tones. The design is orderly yet lively, with repeating blossoms and vinework held by a decorative red border and narrow guard bands that sharpen the frame. Its low distress is visible in the softened pile and gentle overall fading, which lends the rug a calm, timeworn surface. Circa 1895 - 1910, it has the poised character and layered ornament typical of a well-preserved antique rug.
