This Oushak antique rug measures 132 x 457 cm, with a slender format and a gently faded palette that gives the design a quiet, weathered elegance. Wool supports an allover arrangement of floral and palmette motifs, framed by a narrow border and softened by years of visible wear. Blush pink, peach, ivory, tan, and muted grey mingle across the field in a diffused, tactile way, allowing the pattern to read as both decorative and subdued. Medium distress lends the surface a lived-in depth. Circa 1905 - 1920, it reflects the relaxed ornament and softened colour transitions associated with classic Oushak rugs.
