This Oushak antique rug measures 389 x 498 cm and is woven in wool with a softened palette of pink, cream, white, and gentle neutral tones. The composition opens into a faded central field, bordered by floral and geometric ornament that has been gently muted by age. A faint medallion still anchors the centre, while the surrounding pattern reads with a quiet, layered patina. Circa 1900 - 1930, it carries the spacious drawing and mellow surface character often found in Oushak design. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
