This Dorokhsh antique rug measures 290 x 386 cm and combines an expansive floral field with a layered border arrangement. Repeating vines and petite blossoms drift across the surface, while the frame introduces sharper colour and a denser ornamental rhythm. Wool construction gives the rug a soft, timeworn hand, and the palette of neutral, green, white, and cream is tempered by notes of aqua and red. Low distress and visible fading create a calm, lived-in presence. Circa 1925 - 1945, it carries the faded clarity and measured intricacy associated with enduring woven design.
