This Khorasan antique rug measures 338 x 549 cm and carries an allover field of floral vines, palmettes, and boteh-inspired motifs softened by age. The palette shifts through blue, cream, white, and muted coral, with deeper navy and burgundy anchoring the borders. Broad fading through the centre creates a washed, atmospheric effect, while the narrow floral borders still read with clarity and rhythm. Circa 1900 - 1930, it reflects the balanced, decorative language often seen in Khorasan weaving, rendered here with medium wear, softened contrast, and a quietly timeworn surface.
