This Josheghan antique rug measures 109 x 157 cm and carries a richly patterned field built from geometric compartments, floral latticework, and a vivid central diamond medallion. The mustard ground is enlivened by blue, red, ivory, cream, and olive details, then framed by a narrow border in darker tones that gives the layout definition. Its low distress level shows in a softly aged surface and gentle wear, while the fringed ends contribute to its tactile character. Circa 1950 - 1965. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
