This Ravar Kerman antique rug measures 81 x 53 cm and carries a finely pictorial composition in wool, centred by a seated figure beneath a deep red arch. Floral panels flank the field, while an intricate border of scrolling vines and small decorative motifs brings structure and rhythm to the whole. The palette balances ivory, deep red, gold, and restrained green and blue accents, giving the rug a layered, heritage-rich character. Circa 1900 - 1925, it shows low distress, soft fading, and lightly worn edges that add quiet depth to the design.
