A Ravar Kerman pictorial wool runner measuring 84 x 188 cm, rendered in soft creams, warm reds and sage highlights. The floralised field surrounds refined figural groups, enclosed by an inscribed border and narrow guard bands, the whole composed with a miniature-like restraint. Wear is low, with even pile and gentle abrash that accentuates the wool fibre and a subtle patina. This antique rug retains delicate facial detail and a harmonious colourway indicative of mid 20th century provincial Persian taste. Circa 1935 - 1975 The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
