This Baluch antique rug measures 102 x 145 cm and offers a prayer-format composition with a warm neutral ground, deep red surrounds, and dark corner fields that sharpen the overall geometry. Small repeating boteh-like motifs fill the centre, anchored by a compact medallion and enclosed by multiple borders with floral and diamond accents. The wool surface has a soft handle and a gently worn appearance, with low distress, light age toning, and softened fringes that add to its character. Circa 1950 - 1970, it reflects the grounded pattern language and tactile restraint associated with Baluch weaving.
