A tall central field repeats geometric medallions and angular floral motifs, while the borders frame the composition with stylised blossoms and vine-like forms. The wool pile shows medium distress, with gentle fading and an aged surface that softens the contrast between pattern and ground. Circa 1920 - 1935, it has the grounded, timeworn character associated with an antique rug, where pattern, wear, and colour sit in quiet balance.
