This Oushak antique rug measures 315 x 366 cm and is rendered in a restrained palette of cream, ivory and faded peach, with a softly articulated central medallion. Botanical motifs and a quiet border remain visible, though the pattern has gently dissolved into the wool through age and wear. The result is a surface that feels relaxed, luminous and well balanced, with medium distress adding to its lived-in character. Circa 1900 - 1920, it carries the understated ornament and mellow colouring often associated with Oushak weaving, expressed here with a hushed, heritage-aware presence.
