This Tabriz antique rug measures 282 x 381 cm and carries a hushed palette of ivory, cream, faded rose, and warm beige. Its field is arranged with a compact allover pattern, balanced by layered borders and a scrolling floral guard that gives the composition a measured frame. Medium distress and age softening have reduced the contrast, creating a calm, washed surface with plenty of visual texture. Circa 1900 - 1920, it offers the disciplined patterning and decorative ease for which Tabriz rugs are known, translated here into a pale, quietly worn register.
