A substantial Sarouk in wool with a pronounced central medallion set within a rich field and multiple floral borders. The design is composed of compact palmettes and vinework that form a serrated frame around the medallion, while smaller floral motifs define the transition to the guard stripes. The palette pairs warm cream and brown tones with a deep field, producing a quietly aged surface. Wear is low and even, preserving the rug’s hand and pattern legibility; fringe and edges show minor character. Circa 1900 - 1915. Size: 330 x 366 cm. This antique rug retains a considered, tactile character.
