This Oushak in wool presents a saturated gold field and a deep red centre, measured at 122 x 160 cm and showing restrained, design-led wear. The central runner is punctuated by small geometric pinwheels and a chevron head, while wide gold guard borders are filled with rosettes and star-like medallions; a narrow cream outer border frames the composition. The pile displays subtle abrash and even low distress, giving a tactile, heritage-finished surface that reads as both muted and vivid in turn. This antique rug is quietly luminous. Circa 1950 - 1965
