This Mallayer in wool presents a restrained, neutral colourway with a soft cream field and faint ivory highlights. An allover diagonal lattice of small floral and boteh motifs sits within narrow geometric guard borders, the pattern softened by age and even wear. The pile shows medium distress and gentle abrash, with a few discreet repairs and short fringe ends that attest to regular use. The piece is an antique rug offered at 114 x 196 cm, its tactile, calm presence reflecting traditional craft and timeworn patina. Circa 1900 - 1915.
