A refined Sarouk in wool, this antique rug measures 104 x 152 cm and presents a dense floral lattice of mirrored palmettes and scrolling vines in a saturated blue field with coral and cream highlights. The design is held by a sequence of narrow floral guards and a wider patterned border. Wear is low and the pile keeps a soft handle; the blues show subtle abrash that deepens the piece’s colour and surface. The overall effect is tactile and composed, a testament to practiced handcraft.
