An Oushak woven in wool, its coral-pink ground softened by pale neutral borders and a broad band of rosette roundels. Large-scale palmettes and sinuous vine motifs float across the field, their edges mellowed by time; abrash and low wear give the piece a velveteen surface and gentle colour modulation. This antique rug, 249 x 343 cm, shows careful preservation and a subdued, heritage-aware palette that reads as both tactile and architectural. Circa 1880 - 1900, the rug retains an understated presence, the hand of traditional weaving evident in its grand, quiet composition.
