Wear has relaxed the contrasts, producing gentle abrash that allows pale blue and sage accents to surface beneath the ivory. Medium distress and softened pile create a tactile, timeworn finish that reads as quiet refinement. The composition and scale are clear at 345 x 478 cm, a measured antique rug that balances pattern with patina. Circa 1925 - 1940.
