This Baluch is an intimate, handled fragment in wool, measured at 38 x 43 cm and composed of narrow banded registers and repeating geometric guls. The brown and cream colourway has softened into gentle abrash, the surface showing medium distress and a worn, tactile pile. A dense row of tassels completes the lower edge, their weight underscoring the piece's makerly presence. The linear composition and compact scale read as a practiced study in proportion and function. An antique rug that carries clear signs of use and a quiet, woven history. Circa 1885 - 1905
