Bakhtiar Bag with a rich red field, articulated by cream and white motifs and muted purple accents. The design reads as paired rectangular fields of repeating diamond lozenges, framed by multiple geometric guard borders and distinctive corner star panels. The wool fibre retains a soft, low-distress nap with subtle abrash that layers colour across the surface; the braided central fastening remains. Wear is minimal, limited to small edge losses and gentle pile flattening. As an antique rug it balances functional clarity and formal restraint, its tactile surface rewarding close inspection.
