A Bakhtiar Bag in wool, articulated in narrow horizontal bands of red, cream and white with dense geometric panels and fine border friezes. The weave shows restrained, low distress and a pleasant abrash that softens the original dyes; edges and tassels show minor wear consistent with careful use. The colourway is warm and restrained, the motifs tight and rhythmical, a small antique rug that reads as a refined fragment of craft and time. Circa 1880 - 1900. Exact size: 91 x 107 cm. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
