A central medallion and angular palmettes sit within a stepped field, enlivened by a flowering vine lattice and refined floral guard borders. Measuring 130 x 201 cm, the rug shows low distress and a gentle, even abrash that preserves the design’s measured geometry. This antique rug reads as a quietly composed example of early twentieth-century practice, where colour restraint and texture define the piece’s calm presence. Circa 1915 - 1930.
