An American Hook runner in wool with a cream ground and a restrained palette of olive, rust and pale blue. A central stylised trunk rises through the field, bearing scattered floral sprays and unfurling leaves; narrow rust inner border and a dark brown outer band define the composition. The piece shows low wear and a soft, tactile surface with subtle colour variation that hints at age and hand dyeing. This antique rug reads as a thoughtful example of early 20th century hooked work, quietly decorative and well preserved. Circa 1900 - 1915. Measurements: 64 x 117 cm.
