This Hook is a small, tactile wool piece with a central floral centre contained by an arched foliate cartouche. A neutral ground sits within a soft blue field framed by a dark black border, punctuated by rust and green accents. The hooked surface shows restrained wear and a quiet, even ageing; edges show minor fray but the pattern remains defined. It reads as an antique rug with authentic domestic patina and considered making. Circa 1920 - 1935. Measurements: 86 x 140 cm. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
