Cream and neutral guard stripes and layered geometric borders form a measured frame; the wool has a tactile, slightly dry hand. Surface abrasion reads as even, medium distress with softened outlines and gentle abrash that lift the faded colourway into a quiet, lived-in depth. The piece reads as an antique rug of controlled rhythm and careful detail, its worn surface revealing craft and time.
