A serene Tabriz in a neutral, cream and pale gold palette, the wool softened by extensive wear. The all-over floral lattice and repeating palmettes read with delicate restraint, punctuated by narrow guard borders and a clearer outer band. Abrash and even fading have reduced contrast, giving the pattern a quiet, timeworn presence; vertical wear banding and slight edge fraying are evident. This antique rug has a subdued, tactile character that speaks to age and use while retaining its refined design language. Circa 1910 - 1930. Measurements: 366 x 564 cm.
