This Oushak runner presents a sheet of narrow floral stripes, rosette motifs and sprigged vines in soft neutrals, brown and faded red. The wool shows an even abrash and a softened pile with notable thinning along the length and restrained edge wear, evidence of age and handling. At 102 x 472 cm the elongated form emphasises the rhythmic pattern and quiet colourway. An antique rug with medium distress, the piece balances faded colour and preserved design detail, offering a tactile, heritage-rich presence. Circa 1885 - 1900. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
