A long Oushak runner rendered in coral-red and pink, this antique rug pairs strong colour with measured wear. The elongated centre hosts repeating hooked motifs framed by several narrow cream borders punctuated by rosettes and geometric medallions. Wool fibre retains a soft nap and low distress, the subtle abrash lending colour variation without loss of form. Edges show modest end wear but remain structurally present, preserving a lived-in, crafted feeling. Circa 1910 - 1925. Measurements: 94 x 244 cm. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
