This Oushak presents as an antique rug of generous scale, its muted pink field punctuated by three large medallions in ivory, soft blue and warm beige. The wool shows even abrash and medium wear that has softened colour transitions and produced a gentle, low-sheen surface. Small repeating field motifs and a layered floral-geometric border system lend a composed, architectural rhythm to the piece. Wear is consistent and characterful, lending the rug an authentic, calm presence at scale 414 x 587 cm. Circa 1900 - 1920. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
