An Oushak woven in wool, displaying a central oval floral medallion softened by time. The cream centre and muted red bouquet sit within stepped spandrels and layered borders, the composition reading as both geometric and floral. Wear is even, with abrash and softened pile lending a tactile, low-contrast surface; edges are worn and the fringe is partial. This antique rug has a quietly aged presence and a restrained palette of cream, red and soft green. Circa 1900 - 1915. Exact size 122 x 196 cm, a measured example of artisanal wool weaving and the gentle temper of age.
