This Baluch presents a measured interplay of figural motifs and vertical tree patterns, woven in wool on an ivory ground. Tall, elongate guardians and a reclining animal punctuate the central field, their red and brown tones set against a neutral background and a narrow rosette border. The weave shows low wear and only slight abrash to the reds; fringes remain intact, the pile tactile and even. It reads as an antique rug with quiet presence and artisanal restraint. Size: 109 x 203 cm. Circa 1900 - 1930. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
