A long Sarouk runner in wool, the field composed of dense floral vines and repeating palmettes in blue, white and cream against a soft neutral ground. Narrow guard borders with small rosettes contain the running pattern; the surface shows low wear and a subtle abrash that gives depth to the fibre. This antique rug reads as a considered, heritage piece, tactile and quietly worn yet well preserved. Measurements: 86 x 648 cm. Circa 1915 - 1930. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time. Subtle tonal variation keeps the drawing legible and grounded.
