A Sarouk runner in wool, its ivory ground patterned with scattered palmettes and delicate floral sprays in green, russet and navy. The narrow format presents a repeated medallion-like sequence within a fine floral guard border; pile shows low wear and a soft tactile finish that preserves line and colour transitions. The neutrals have warmed with age while the motifs retain clear definition, reflecting careful use and gentle ageing. Circa 1910 - 1930. This antique rug measures 76 x 335 cm and reads as a composed, heritage piece with restrained surface character.
