This Tabriz in wool presents a restrained neutral colour range, beige, cream, taupe and soft grey, centred on an intricate medallion set within a small-scale floral ground. Scalloped spandrels and layered guard borders frame repeating floral roundels; wear has softened the contrasts to a gentle patina. The rug displays medium distress with even abrash, light edge wear and areas of lowered pile that reveal the weave's composition.
