This European runner presents a soft, neutral palette of cream and pale grey wool where rosette medallions and fern-like sprays repeat down the length, contained by a darker floral roundel border. The fibre shows high distress, with threadbare patches and a mellowed surface that creates a gentle colour patina. At 150 x 663 cm the proportions are long and linear, emphasising the pattern rhythm despite areas of loss.
