This Oushak presents a low-contrast medallion and generous border worked in wool tones of ivory and muted apricot-cream. Wear is even and moderate, the abrash and softened pile contributing to a lived, tactile surface that reframes the traditional motif with a faded, almost painterly hand. The composition reads as a study in restrained colour and form, where border motifs and central geometry remain legible beneath surface age. Circa 1900 - 1915. Measurements: 315 x 427 cm. This antique rug retains a considered, tactile character. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
